How does the AudibleHealth AI screener work?
+AudibleHealth AI is a clinical decision support software (CDSS) solution that uses artificial intelligence and machine learning to detect intricate patterns in the sound of a person's cough. These patterns have been correlated with specific disease signatures. To use the solution, a person coughs into the application for approximately 15 seconds. When they click Submit, their cough sample is sent to our cloud environment in Microsoft Azure for processing. In 30 to 60 seconds, the result is available. The result shows the risk level that a cough sample is consistent with COVID-19, Tuberculosis, or Pneumonia.
Is the AudibleHealth AI solution user friendly?
+Yes! This solution is designed to deliver a non-invasive, rapid, simple to use application to help individuals identify the likelihood of specific respiratory illnesses. The solution does not require swabs or bio-samples of any kind. The solution works on virtually any Android or Apple smart phone, does not require any external hardware, requires no supplies or consumables, and works using a WiFi or a cellular connection.
What is a "forced cough"?
+This solution uses either spontaneous coughs, or, an intentional cough also called a Forced Cough Vocalization.
Are there Tutorial videos available?
+Yes! Please see our tutorial videos here.
Is the AudibleHealth AI technology patented?
+The technology behind this solution is completely proprietary from end to end and is well protected with more than 20 patents pending.
Is this solution a diagnostic test?
+No. This solution is considered a Screener. It is not a standalone diagnostic test and is not considered to be equivalent to a PCR test. It has been clinically validated in studies in multiple countries including the United States.
Who invented the Solution?
+In March of 2020 a cross disciplinary team of data scientists, medical professionals, technologists and medical device experts at AudibleHealth AI, Inc. began development of the AudibleHealth AI screening platform.
Who is RAIsonance, Inc.?
+RAIsonance, Inc. is a family of companies dedicated to providing Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML)-based solutions for respiratory related illnesses and wellness monitoring.
Is AudibleHealth AI a privately held company?
+Yes, AudibleHealth AI, Inc. is a private company and a wholly owned subsidiary of RAIsonance, Inc.
How do I start using the solution?
+It’s very easy! In some cases a physician or organization will send you a link on your mobile phone, either using SMS or WhatsApp. Once you receive the link, you click it, and the solution guides you through the short process of recording your cough, and submitting it for processing.
In other cases you can request a link yourself, by going to https://RespiratoryScreening.com. There you can purchase a test, and the application will guide you through the short process of recording your cough, and submitting it for processing.
In both cases, the application will ask you to cough for at least 15 seconds. When you are finished, you click the Submit button, and the system will return a result to your phone in approximately 60 seconds.
What should I know about submitting a successful cough?
+Ideally you should be in a relatively quiet environment, but it does not have to be completely silent. The solution is designed to work well in rooms with background noise and even speaking or music. You can use the solution indoors or outdoors. A few specific tips for the ideal cough submission:
- Be sure to avoid covering the microphone, normally at the bottom of your phone, with your thumb or finger.
- When you cough, hold the phone approximately arm’s length from your mouth. If it’s too close to your mouth there can be distortion.
- When you cough, give us a good strong cough from your lungs – not quiet cough in your throat.
- If possible, pause slightly between coughs. This will make it easier for our solution to take your cough recording and split the sound into individual coughs for processing.
- When you click the button to record, start coughing. When you’re done click the Submit button.
- If for some reason your cough could not be processed, you will get a message shortly after you submit your cough. The solution will ask you to cough again.
- We generally need about 10 coughs. If we are not able to collect 10 usable coughs, the solution will ask you to cough again.
Will I get a confirmation that my cough was collected successfully?
+Yes! The solution will give you a screen that says Success! This lets you know that your cough recording was successful and is being processed. Leave the solution alone, and about 60 seconds later your result will appear.
Can I use the solution on Wi-Fi and cellular networks?
+Yes! Both work just fine.
Can I use headphones or Bluetooth to submit my test?
+We recommend using no headphones, external microphones, or separate Bluetooth devices. Instead, cough directly into your phone to avoid interference or problems with microphone permissions.
Can I submit a test from an unsecured network?
+Yes, you can submit your test from an unsecured network. However, we recommend always using a secured network to ensure the privacy of your personal information.
What diseases does the solution currently screen for?
+At present, the solution screens for COVID-19, Pneumonia, and active Tuberculosis.
If my results show a risk for one of the diseases, do I need to take another test?
+If your result shows a risk for one or more illnesses, we recommend you speak with your doctor right away for next steps. Always heed the advice of your healthcare provider.
Can I buy screenings in bulk?
